Despite the limitations posed by the weather, we did wish there was a bathtub in our chalet. The chairs in the room felt a bit unstable, and we would have preferred cozier lighting.

The attention to detail was amazing, with thoughtful extras like extra towels, robes, and even hot chocolate. The host, Heidi, was fantastic and provided clear instructions for check-in and gave great advice for local dining options. Communication with her was always prompt and helpful. I would definitely stay at Aurora Rural Retreats again and highly recommend it to others.

We stayed at the Aurora Rural Retreats Villa and had an amazing experience. the host, Heidi, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. the views from the villa were absolutely stunning, and we were able to escape and relax in this peaceful location. the amenities provided were exceptional, including full-size towels and shower gel from the Highland soap company. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and we will definitely be back. Cons: Cannot find any fault! 👌.

The compact living space was clean and well-maintained, with thoughtful added touches like slippers, robes, and hot chocolate. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm, providing a cozy atmosphere during our stay.

The mattress and pillows were quite uncomfortable, making it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep. The mattress had an uneven slope, while the pillows were flat with no proper support for our heads and necks.
